Sargasso sea is the only sea that has no borders
The Sargasso Sea, located entirely within the Atlantic Ocean, is the only sea in the world without a land boundary.
• Instead of being bounded by land boundary, it is surrounded by four ocean currents. These ocean currents form a clockwise-circulating gyre that surrounds the Sargasso Sea much like a terrestrial coastline would.

• It is surrounded by the North Atlantic Current on the north, the North Atlantic Equatorial Current on the south, the Canary Current on the east and the Gulf Stream on the west.
• This vast patch of ocean named for a genus of free-floating seaweed know as Sargassum.
